The goal of this project was to figure out a packaging design and advertising campaign for a common shelf product in a way that set it apart from the rest.

Brand Strategy: How could I portray this concept of connection and storytelling in a 2D ad in a matter of seconds?

Let the consumer make their own story. The advertisements were a play on the classic motif of a “love triangle.”

The current trend of new and rebranded products seems to be making their packaging as simple as possible, saying the most with the least amount of elements possible. As a girl born and raised in the south, I wanted to bring back packaging that told a story. It was important to me to create a brand centered around people coming together and adding personality back to the brands we see on our grocery shelves. 

The pecan heart already hints at the undertone of love. The headline proposes a choice between two options; a classic love triangle if you will. So, what will it be? Either way, both options lead to choosing the brand.
