Nice to Meet You

Hi! I am Madelyn Jade Fontenot. The story of how I came to be a designer is a classic tale of a girl who wanted to be an artist but also needed to make money. I impulsively changed my major to graphic design my sophomore year of college after lying to myself that I wanted to be in biology. But I did not expect to actually fall in love with it.

I found myself most interested in branding. My favorite projects were campaigns because it challenged me to think creatively and consistently.

I find my excitement, personally and professionally, in connecting with others through art-making. It is the most personal and yet the most universal form of self-expression… at least to me. My passion for arts, culture and community lead me to Nashville, where I now work as a graphic designer and content specialist for West End Community Church.
